Dominic Moreno didn’t want to make a big deal out of it.
He had waited ... and waited before.
After being picked in the 33rd round of the 2014 MLB draft, Moreno made a decision.
He was coming back to Texas Tech.
“I was drafted in the 33rd round, so it was 25 rounds higher,” Moreno said. “It is just like a cycle. I have done a lot of questionable decisions from turning downing Oklahoma State to go to Howard to coming to Texas Tech, which was coming off a losing season and not playing great baseball.
